Meet Annette

A lifelong love of photography, a passion for thoughtful design, and a deep appreciation for the stories they tell.

Some of my earliest memories were made in my father's photography studio in Miami, where I watched rolls of film become treasured photographs in the darkroom. While my father photographed and developed each image by hand, my mother welcomed clients and coordinated wedding parties, teaching me from an early age that creating beautiful photographs is just as much about people as it is about the camera.

My own creative journey eventually led me to New York City, where I spent much of my twenties pursuing opportunities in the performing arts while continuing to nurture my passion for photography. During that time, I also worked in the wedding planning and coordination industry, gaining a behind-the-scenes appreciation for the care, organization, and attention to detail that make each celebration unforgettable. Those experiences—both in front of and behind the camera, and alongside wedding professionals—gave me a unique perspective on creating not only beautiful images, but an experience where clients feel comfortable, naturally guided, and genuinely themselves.

As my career evolved, so did my creative interests. What began with professional photo retouching soon expanded into graphic design, branding, and website design, allowing me to help businesses present themselves with the same level of care and intention that I bring to every photograph.

Today, Navarro Photo & Design reflects both my family's legacy and my own creative journey. As a second-generation photographer and designer, I'm honored to continue that tradition by creating timeless imagery and thoughtful design for individuals, couples, families, and small businesses throughout Miami, Stuart, and Florida's Treasure Coast.

Whether I'm documenting a wedding, designing a brand identity, or photographing a growing family, my goal is always the same: to create work that feels authentic, refined, and enduring.
